The project burning man NL holds the idea of sharing and celebrating your memories Whether it is about something to mourn about, or it is something that is to celebrate. The concept is to embrace and to let go of the past.
The logo is as bold and simple as can be. The concept of burning man is changed every year so it is not necessary to use a very technical logo. As it it only a branding used very small in the project.
crows
The crow are a representation of the ‘burdens’ you carry around. Cause of the mythological connection they have with death and the living. It was a perfect asset to use throughout the project.
human
Burning man is all about living in a city of art for a week. Though many think it is a festival created for a musical experience. It is about the art. That’s why the usage of old marble statues was necessary to give that philosophical/ artsy vibe.
final touch
The sketches were used to create an image using AI. Because of the lack of drawing skills I chose to use the help of AI tools to get the image on the right.

Bus Advertisement
every journey holds something
what's yours?
The bus is a perfect way to advertise the burning man Project throughout the county. The selection of areas are determined by the target group. Also the copy on the bus is adjusted to the bus itself. The bus is the very thing that is taking the journey. And it holds all the stories (people).
ACTIVATE THE CROWD
ACTIVATION ON THE STATIONS
The idea of the activation is that there are stands built around the centra stations across the country. Everyone is able to submit a memory, if it good or bad doesn’t matter. When submitted the memory takes its journey towards the website/social media. And will be around the festival area as well.
